This place is very modern and nice, sort of on the expensive side, but it only comes down to a few bucks for western traveler. So if you are looking for a safe, modern place, this is it.

This is by far the best guest house we have stayed in in SE Asia. It is in a good location situated in a quiet area with plenty of inexpensive eating places round about.The rooms are large, comfortable and well-equipped and kept very clean. It has free wi-fi, unlimited hot water and free bottled water in the fridge in the rooms. The staff are unfailingly helpful and pleasant and nothing is too much trouble. They have very good knowledge of the city and will help you to make any arrangements you may need. We are a mature couple well used to travelling and have no hesitation in giving the Tri-Gong Residence a 5* rating.

We spent two nights here in August. The staff are very friendly, and the rooms was great (we opted for the superior room). There is free bottled water provided and wifi, tv etc. The location is excellent. Would definitely recommend!

I've stayed here many times. The location is great, and the rooms clean and cheap (in October 2011 around 12 UK pounds a night). Wi-fi is free, and the host amicable. Nearby are many good places to eat and drink, and if you feel gregarious, a place to chat with other guests.
