“Perfect way to start our honeymoon!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 February 2012

We loved our stay at Pak Chiang Mai! Right from the start we were greeted with smiles and a bouquet of flowers in our room wishing us a happy honeymoon. Its the personal touches like this that really made our stay special.

The accommodations are lovely and are in a very convenient location right at the bottom of Old Town. You can easily walk to many temples right near by. The breakfast in the mornings were always super tasty, fresh vegetarian food. We even had dinner there a couple times because we liked their food so much. Our room - one of the suites - was very spacious and comfortable. Our favorite part of the room was the large wooden tub to soak in after a long day of exploring the city. We also really enjoyed the tea in the room - a different flavor every day. We made sure to buy some before we left. We took advantage of the massage services offered there too - very reasonable prices for an extensive (if a tad bit painful) massage!

We stayed at Pak during the Loi Krathrong festival and it proved to be a great spot to enjoy the festivities. We were able to walk to the parades easily and there were many decorations for the festival around the canal right by Pak. They also provided materials to make our own floats for the festival that we released into the river later that night!

The best part of our stay though, was the personal attention from O and Noon. They were always there to answer questions, give advice, help book outings or help in any way. We were sad when we had to leave Pak, but will never forget our amazing stay there!

Room Tip: Our suite was on the street side and we could hear a little bit of street noise - but it wasnt bad...

“We loved it here!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 February 2012

We had a fantastic time in chaing Mai thanks to the hospitality of Oh and our experience at pak chaing Mai. The facilitynis beautiful, very peaceful and tranquil, clean, and warm. The garden is so beautiful. The breakfasts were awesome, There is so much to do in Chaing Mai, it can be overwhelming, but Oh was very helpful in helping us plan our itinerary and giving us advice. She is so sweet! We will definitely be going back!!! Dan and Robyn

“Wonderful place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

We have stayed at Pak 3 times which says everything and will stay there again on our next visit to Chiang Mai A very relaxing place where a great deal of thought has gone into making the guests comfortable. The suites thought much more expensive than the other rooms are wonderful for special occasions or if you are not on a tight budget. O & Noon are wonderfull hosts and nothing seems to troble them they even managed to get our luggage repaired in under 12 hours. Their garden is a very relaxing place to relax and recharge your batteries. Don't miss the breakfast or the other food available throughout the day it is excellent. Good base to explore the old city and close to Friday market and only short walk to Sunday walking market. Very good and inexpensive food can be had round the corner at the local market. Across the road from Pak is the Terracotta garden which is well worth a few minutes walking round. Can't wait to go back.

Room Tip: Try the suites if your budget allows.

“A Delightful BnB”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 January 2012

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to stay while visiting Chiang Mai. From the moment u step in the front door into the garden oasis, everything is just wonderful here. The common areas are very attractive and filled with flowers and plants and comfortable seating. Lots of travel books to peruse. The suite room is large and comfy with a sunlit bathroom. The king bed is very comfortable. A nice extra is a computer in the room. There are also 2 computers downstairs for general use. The bathroom has a shower and a wooden bathtub to soak in after a long day sightseeing. If light bothers u, u might want to conisder sleep mask as the room does get some ambient light from the outside street lightning as is the case in most city hotels. Breakfast is very good with choices off a menu and freshly cooked orders. But what makes Pak Chiang Mai extra special is the owner who is so helpful and thoughful. All the staff are great and the BnB is immaculate. If you're looking for a small, persdonable place to stay definitley check out Pak Chiang Mai.

Room Tip: Go for one of the two suites

“Simply perfect”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 January 2012

Pak Chiang Mai was a welcome oasis of calm after a hectic day in Chiang Mai, the city big and bustling so its nice to have somewhere quiet to go back to.
The staff were lovely and friendly and very helpful. The food was really, really good, each meal was fantastic. Breakfast was lovely, good coffee and great choice of dishes including wholemeal croissants which I had never seen before.
The room was clean and nicely decorated. They have lots of lovely touches like homemade shampoo and well, I dont want to spoil it for you. Just go there, its amazing. If everywhere I stayed was this good I would be a very happy traveller!
