such greta value for money, staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the food was great! A great start to our holiday!!!

We stayed here at the end of January 2012 for 2 nights. Great location. A printable map on the website to show the taxi/tuk tuk drivers where to drop you. Friendly greeting with a cold glass of ice tea! 10 minutes from Khao San Road and about a 25 minute walk from the Grand Palace. Decent sized room with air conditioning, TV and mini-bar with 2 free bottles of water. Free wi-fi. Buffet breakfast with lots of choice.

Stayed at the Lamphu in late january, overall a lovely stay, we werent in the main hotel but a separate block a few mins walk away. the room was lovely decorated, very clean and fresh, the bathroom was great, the shower top notch, really powerful. Breakfast great, the restaurant serves lovely meals in the evening and the barman pours a great Singapore Sling :) all very reasonably priced. It is also located a stone's throw from the koh san road area but far enough away so the bright lights dont keep u awake at night! Unfortunately didnt get a dip in the swimming pool, but it looked lovely! Also after departing and heading to south thailand, i accidently left a pendant in the room bathroom, the manager was lovely and posted the pendant on to me in New Zealand-what a star, true customer service! would defo recommend a stay here!

Just finishing up a 3 night stay here and we found the hotel to be very comfortable overall. The staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was great, the pool was nice, the rooms were spacious: our two complaints involve the bed and the construction. The bed was rather uncomfortable and stiff, and there is a small renovation going on that woke us up early one morning. Otherwise, great value and access to khao san without actually being in the thick of it.
