As it goes The Key is not a bad hotel, I think they have the right idea for what a hotel in Bangkok should be.
Some people might not like the fact there is no restaurant in the hotel but do you really need a restaurant in a hotel in Bangkok with all those fantastic street vendors and independent restaurants....NO you don't.
I particularly liked the breakfast in bed touch, the food was OK and you had a choice of Asian, Continental with fresh fruit brought to your room at the requested time.
The free wifi was reasonably fast, if a bit annoying as you needed a separate logon for every wifi device you own.
Staff were on the whole welcoming and very friendly.
Location was spot on with a couple of minute walk to Asoke BTS and Sukhumvit MRT, you also have a plethora of street stalls and restaurants on your doorstep.
The room cost was acceptable for the facilities provided, so I guess I did actually like The Key!
