“Everything is So-So!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 January 2012

Just visited Bangkok on early January...As what I mentioned in the title, the customer service was so-so... The location is superb, just one block away from so-called Backpacker capital of Thanon Khao San... The room quite huge enough for 2 persons. The cleanliness is superb... They even provide complementary waters for the hotel guests. But there's something that make me feel disappointed, prior to my arrival, I already stated my special requests in my email whereby I asked for more quieter room as I have sleep problem, but when we reached they reserve us just next to the elevator which is quite noisy. Then, you can hear the noise outside from the room. What more to say in Rambuttri Road as it is the place for the backpacker hanging out and have a drink. early morning, do expect the staff making noise as they starting do a cleaning process around the hotel...

“Very Nice Place To Stay in th center of old town”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 August 2011

One block away is the famous Khaosan Rd.Their is plenty of shopping, resturents and even a good dentist at the end of the street. Get a cab at the big hotel next door and be sure to ask if they use the meter,if not walk away or you will get ripped off. Its less expensive than a tuk tuk and with the meter you don't have to go through the hasel of trying to get a fair price. You are a five walk to the water taxi which is cheep and a good way to get a feel for Bangkok. Ask the people at the desk to write the name of the location for the taxi, they are great at helping you with directions.

Room Tip: ask for a room in the back off the main street

“Super clean, aloof staff, noisy (to be expected though)”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 August 2011 via mobile

I stayed here the other nigt, looking for a khao San rd experience. I expected it to be noisy- it was, but not too bad for a Tuesday night. The location is superb, even for an old 30-something like myself. The staff were not particularly friendly or helpful, but I've seen worse. The room was spic and span! I was pleasantly surprised! It was so clean and smelled bleachy, but the good clean bleachy, not the "I'm trying to cover up a bad smell" bleachy ;) Even the communal showers (there are a few shared rooms.. I'm cheap) were super clean andthe heat and pressure was awesome!!! I'm going to stay again next week when I get back to BKK.

“Nice hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 July 2011

We stayed here in May 2010 for a few nights. A nice large hotel with comfortable rooms and two nice roof top swimming pools.

Close to Th Khao San road so in good location.

Tip: Eat at Chart Restaurant - we had the best Thai food there apart from some good street food too.

“noisy but clean and great staff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 April 2011

If you tend to be the one making all the noise...this is a great place for you. In the middle of the action! Very clean rooms and bathrooms, simple, good ac, hot shower. Espresso and capachino downstairs were very good. The people were very helpfull! I was having a very hard time on the phone trying to get a refund for accomodation that I wasn´t able to stay in due to bad weather. The Indian looking man in charge of the place heard me struggling and asked if I needed help. After asking me exactly what I was trying to do, he took the phone and made the call for me, settling everything so that I could get my money back. Without him that would not have been possible! Very helpfull and caring person!
