My wife and stayed a couple of nights here in Bangkok before flying back home, and we regret choosing this place. It was recommended by a friend, and believe me, we haven't spoken since!

The only upside to this hotel is the service - but that goes without saying in Thailand. The location was crummy and it was so difficult to get a ride out of our tiny, cramped Soi. There was some ants nest in our wall or something because a trail of ants could be seen in the corner of our room continually disappearing into a hole.

I'm sorry, but I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

The Sukhumvit Crown Hotel is located close to the skytrain, fine restaurants, and is in a very safe area. It has also never experienced any political unrest in it's proximity. The staff is cordial and will help in any situation. The rooms are decent and quite clean. The rates are reasonable.

I always stay here when in bangkok,I have never had a problem with noise in any of the rooms I stayed.You have to smile at the mirrors, strategically positioned for your convenience..catering for the majority of residents???.The rooms and decor are in need of some renovation, but for the price..I have no complaints.

First of all, it amazes me how people expect to get a 3 star hotel in Bangkok for less than $30. Lets be realistic, this is a very low budget hotel in an excellent location off Sukhumvit Road. The employees are extremely friendly and engage in converstaion.Now the bad, the air conditioning barely works and the hotel is run down. The all you can eat breakfast is adequate and the hotel has several channels from all over the world on the television
