“Good for stop over near the main airport”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 February 2012

I stayed for one night and paid around £15 breakfast excluded. It looks close on the map to the airport but is about a 5-10 mins drive. Although in a back water up a lane the hotel is pleasant and give good value for money. The only annoying part was the internet which you have to pay for, and if you use the lobby PCs you need a good supply of 10 bht coins for 10 mins (i.e. 2p a minute) as it uses a slot machine for payment.

I would certainly stay there again especially as a taxi for £1 will take you to the nearest railway station (not the airport) for a trip costing 80p into Bangkok.

All in all a good place to be near the airport ready for that flight home. I would stay there again.

“Conveniently close to bangkok airport”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

Had a lay-over in Bangkok for seven hours and
rather than hanging at the airport or at the public lounge
I decided to book this place lastminute.
Free shuttle bus service to and from airport, free
Wifi, superior room, little restaurant on premises....
I did not expect the hilton considering the price
I paid but was very happy indeed when picked up
In van with resort logo and dropped off in green
Surroundings close to airport, approx 10 min drive.
Check in quick and friendly and my room big with
Big bed, very comfortable bedlinens and matress,
Older style television, newly looking efficiently working
Aircon, toiletries and CLEAN AS. Big shiny white tiles on floor.
Bathroom older but ok and yes it does have the
Open shower that makes everything wet especially
the toilet but have paid more and and still got
the same set-up. Arranged shuttle service back to airport
and wake up call which i received as arranged.
Ate a light meal at the restaurant which was ok
But nothing to rave about. Surroundings nice and
tropical but building is going on in the neighbourhood
and walking to mainroad where i noticed more eating
possibilities, some shops and a market might be a bit dark and for some a. Bit
daunting. Shuttle bus back to airport punctual.
Overall very happy with convenient resort. I had
A great sleep without noises from outside interrupting
My sleep (during the day) and enjoyed the little interaction
with staff at resort as well as restaurant. Will use this
place again if i have a lay-over.

Room Tip: Always ask to have a look at the room first. In case you think it's not the class you booked or...

“There's better places”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 January 2012

Notes on our recent stay:
You can organise a pick up from the airport - be patient for the van
Some staff are helpful - others are less than friendly
No lift - this would have been a very useful addition
Location is only convenient to the airport
For a property that is only six years old it is showing a lot of wear and tear. Overall, I didn't enjoy our stay.

“Near the airport- but not CONVENIENT to stay more than ONE night”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 January 2012

Special commendation to their staffs for their hospitality and sense of urgency. We were checked in very fast, their hotel staff assisted us by bringing in our big luggage going to our room in 3rd floor- they carried it even without elevator. The following day, I am surprised that a staff is patiently waiting outside our door to carry our luggage going downstairs. Breakfast is average, not so many choices to choose from but I think that's enough to fill our stomach. Another plus is the airport transfers and wi-fi access in our room. Though we were not able to sleep well becacuse of bed bugs I think, we were scratching all night. My and my husband got wheals and flares the following day. Quite surprised that the picture in the website is largely different from where we were billeted that I had to double check if this is the room that we paid for. Room is quite dirty. Kettle is on the cabinet floor full of dusts that we requested for a new one. Hanger, Spoon, tissues all on the same drawer, scattered. Cabinet smells very bad that you wouldn't want to open. Room was large but not well-maintained. Convenient for overnight stay only.

Room Tip: Deluxe corner have more spaces than other rooms

“Good for stopovers - only!”

Despite what others have written, we had a satisfactory experience with Convenient Resort. It was easy to find by taxi. The staff were friendly and helped carry our bags upstairs. When we had trouble accessing the internet, they came right away and helped us. The room was bigger than I imagined and very clean. The shower was hot and had good water pressure. They did not provide free breakfast, and as they charge 150 baht (US$5) for a skimpy buffet, it really wasn't worth it. But we did eat dinner at the restaurant, and the food was cheap and good. The airport transfer left right on time and took about 10 minutes. Overall, we were quite satisfied with the service we got for only $20.
