“a sane experience in crazy Bangkok”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 February 2012

What a lovely place! coming there with our 2 children was an excellent idea, the rooms are beautiful, each one is painted with different colorful drawings, you can see there was a thought about children when creating this place. in the shower- a high one and a low one for children, what a sweet idea!
the whole place is beautiful and every time you see another sweet detail. the food is very very good. breakfast is simple but nice. considering the place as "green" i would have changed the white bread to a whole wheat one, and add musli to the menu. but it was fine.
the staff is amazing! so nice, helpful, smiling always. thank you all al lot!!
the only thing that bothered me was the mosquitoes in the dining area, i wish they would find a solution for that, instead of covering yourself all the time with those heavy smell creams.
ah, and one more thing- missing a night light in the rooms. if you want to read a book during your jet leg... you have to lighten the whole room....
in general- a wonderful experience, we loved it! if we come to Bangkok again- that will be our place!

Thank you for a kind review ^_^ For 6 years we 've been servicing to our guest , we keep trying to improve our service to serve guest need. Most of our guest come with kids and kids need their special space for playing and learning especially when they change to new atmosphere. At PN we also put more effort to create a space for kids. As you can see our Sala ( an outdoor building in the middle of the garden) will let the kids enjoy playing with nature. A sand box, small pond and kids play ground are very popular among our young guest. Nearly future we will have a workshop for small kid till teenager too such as book binding, etching, and sewing for kids, hope your kids can join on your next visit. Thank you for the useful advise, we will consider to change the bread to whole wheat as you recommend. Also you will see a small lamp in your room for sure in your next visit. Have a slow life... ^_^

“Great place to stay in Bangkok”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 February 2012

We spent one night in this guesthouse, there are honestly so many great things to say about it I don't know where to start. The food is amazing, best smoothie I've ever had I reckon. The rooms are gorgeous, really quirky and homely, we had a great view from our balcony of a big gold Buddha seen rising above the rooftops which was spectacular. The rooms are comfortable enough, only thing we had a problem with were the pillows, they were too hard and high or something... found it difficult to get comfy and ended up sleeping without it, not a big deal, but this is something that could be improved :)

The area is really local, we had a great walk along the canal just taking in the street life, temples and markets. We didn't have any problems getting back at night and there were staff there to let us in and provide us with messages from friends calling. The staff are lovely at PN, very sweet, nice to chat to and very helpful.

Highly recommend staying here and hope to revisit someday!

We loved this place, real community feeling, very family friendly. Great welcome. our name was on the chalk board, they gave us a drink and lunch when we arrived, let us into our room earily.Really pleasant and helpful staff. Vert comfy bed, ,but a few mosies, had to unpack our mosi nets for the first time in Thailand.but no problem. We get to our rooms and a short time later are brought a tea tray ... we loved it. They have free internet ,laundry facilities and a little shop. Just remember when packing your suitcase put your 100+ml containers in suitcase not your carry on bags. lost my coconut face scrub cos of this oversight
the AMASING art work is really lovely. On the down side our bathroom door didn't close properly so this was where the mosies got in and there is a window vent opening onto corridor so the sound in the hall did carry.Would have been good if there was a fridge.Very difficult for taxi's to know where to go.
Also got scammed by the taxi's that drove us to our next destination. Remember we pay the toll. they then said we owed for the phone booking whatever!!
But Prana Korn very nice.especially liked the young eager staff.

Thank you for your kind review ^_^ We will let our maintenance team to look more closer on the doors and windows details. It's a bit hard cause we use an old material ( reused concept ) so it might be in a perfect function. The ventilation of each room is important that why we need to have a window vent opening onto the hallway. By the way we will consider to get the mosquito net to protect the mosquito getting into your room. About the taxi we would like to inform you that normally if you get the taxi on the street you no need to pay any extra fee just pay according to the meter. But if you let the hotel call for the taxi the taxi will charge extra 20 THB as a service charge from the taxi company the hotel didn't get anything from that. The good thing is that the taxi that we call to pick you up will be note by us incase you forget something in the car we can follow up to get it back or we will be sure that they will not over charge u cause we write down their information in case if they do we can call the police. But if you call the taxi by the street we may got difficulty to follow up for you and some of the taxi driver like to over charge the foreigner. Tip is to always ask them use the meter. Thank you for admire our staff and Hope you will see our improvement on you next visit.

“Pretty and inexpensive 3 star hotel”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 February 2012 via mobile

Stayed here for three day stop in BKK. Overall, its a nice hotel:
* The staff are friendly and helpful.
* Hotel has a very 'green' and relaxing feel to it. A lot of effort put into the decor.
* It's close to the pier for traveling.
* Nice roof top area.
* Free lunch coupons - although menu is limited, the lunch was quite nice.

There are some downers however:
* The doors are very thin resulting in the rooms being quite noisy. This is especially true when small kids are running up and down the corridors.
* No fridge in room, which is a pain in that heat. Same for coffee machine.
* The breakfast is really not up to scratch.
* Lots and lots of mosquitos. LOTS!

This is a nice and beautiful hotel and I enjoyed the stay, but remember it is a 3 star hotel. If you're looking for luxury and convenience, I would not recommend PN. If you're looking for inexpensive and pretty, this is definately a good choice!

Thank you for your kind reviewed ^_^ We intend to meet our customers' needs and on the other hand we're promise to help saving the energy and stop global warming. The preparation of the coffee , hot water, refrigerator station is provide in each floor at the corner of the stairs but not in each rooms. It is possible that our staff might forgot to recommend it for you. By the way thank you for mention this to us so we can keep improving our service. Unlucky about mosquito we avoid to use the insecticide but we provide our home-made organic mosquito repellent which will not kill the mosquito but just let it away from you. Any way we will work hard on this matter and will find some new solution to keep the mosquito away by not using the chemical. Thank you for your review hope you will be back some day to see our improvement ^_^

“Amazing!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 February 2012

The whole place is like an adorable little wonderland! The restaurant has a little stream running through it and lots of cute floral cushions and table covers that were all made within the hotel by the staff. The shabby chic, vintage style is carried on throughout the entire place and everywhere you look there is something interesting or beautiful to look at. Our room was lovely and someone brings amazing ginger tea to your door. The best part was the music playing in the room, a cd made by the staff of the best music I have ever heard. We only stayed one night but it was so much fun and felt like a little dream world. The staff were so nice and the food was excellent. We were also given tokens for a free meal just for no reason! Try the massaman curry and the smoothies are awsome too!
