Great location, clean rooms and comfortable enough to call home. For the price you pay, this is definitely the best bang-for-buck hotel in the Sukhumvit area. Just less than a minute's walk to the nearby 7-11 or the slightly further FamilyMart. Less than 5 mins to the newly opened Terminal21, Robinsons Departmental Store and the Asok BTS.

Unlike other hotels, this hotel does not collect your passport nor money during check-in. You can stay till whenever you like and pay when you checkout. Although the pool is small, I doubt any tourist would do their daily 10 laps of swimming when they're overseas!

We spent 8 days in this hotel & i must say whilst it looks a little run down outside it is very nice inside, staff are friendly & the restaraunt staff are amazing, large rooms & they are currently doing a refurb on the rooms, i would recomend this hotel & when we go back next year we shall be staying there again. Very close to terminal 21 which is a new shopping centre that is amazing.

Pros:

1. It is very convenient as it is situated within walking distance of both the ASOK BTS and Sukhumvit MRT.

2. It is also near a popular supermarket where you can buy your food.

3. The rooms are very inexpensive (lowest 900 baht) considering the superb location. Furthermore, breakfast is included.

4. Huge bathtub in the room

5. The bustling Sukhumvit night market is just within walking distance.

Cons:

1. The furniture in the rooms looks old.

2. The swimming pool is very small.

3. Most of the rooms have noisy compressors installed just outside the room with its constant humming. Even shutting the window doesn't stop the noise.

4.Internet is not free

5.It feels like a crammed box inside the room if your room doesn't face the pool. Those with claustrophobia better not stay here as it feels like a prison camp.


Try staying at Federal Hotel a few streets away with newer rooms, better room views and much bigger pool.

Since my last review in 2010 I have stayed at the Honey Hotel in May 2011 then again in Sept 2011. Each stay is always as enjoyable as the times before. Fon on reception is always on hand to help as are all the other staff. The restaurant serves some great meals at great prices.
If you stay at the Honey try the rooms over looking the pool. A good friendly hotel.
