“์ำFirst time for Mercure experience”

This is my first visit to Grand Mercure Hotel. I choose the hotel because of convenient transportation by BTS and MRT in Bangkok. However, you have to walk around 250 meters from the station to the hotel. The staffs are friendly and smiling to their guests. This is one of my favorite hotel that I can rest and relax nearby the pool quietly. There are 2 TVs in the room with well-equipped kitchen. The location of the hotel is great. You can walk to Terminal21, the newest department store and market streets at the junction of BTS and MRT. That is all my good experience again.

“Our home in Bangkok”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 December 2011

We got a bigger room than we'd booked, and this room (or actually, appartment) was bigger than our own house. Separate bedroom, living room, kitchen, and nicely clean (service every day which was very well arranged)
It was nice to have our own breakfast and we used our fridge well. This place is very close to the subway, so good for sightseeing the centre, and close to the skytrain on the other side. For us, being on the east side, slightly closer to the airport was important too, as we had our bikes with us that needed transport.
The staff are there 24/7 and are very friendly. We got to leave our luggage there for almost a week, while we went off to the islands, and this was all perfectly easy.
They didnt have a restaurant until now, but were in the process of opening a breakfast facility. We got offered free breakfasts in turn for some feedback on them. It was a nicely set up buffet with extra menu items available on order. (though I don't know about value for money, since we weren't charged). The pool is hardly worth going to but other than that this place is a definite recommend.

“Good rooms, good service, good location, good price - what more could you want?”

Spent a very enjoyable layover in Bangkok at the Grand Mercure. Had intended only one night there but very fortunately my flight to Dubai was canceled and I had no choice but to stay a second night. Very friendly staff and location about a 250 metre leisurely walk to Sukhumvit Road. I had a suite which for US$130 was very good value. Will be more than happy to stay at hotel in future.

“Fairly good”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 November 2011

Fine location within this price. Appreciate in room equipment suitable for long stay. Location is now fantastic near Terminal 21 and also Asoke MTR station. Disappointment to no inhouse restaurant. Private environment is fine to quiet with not much people around. Generally fine for all purposes.
