Essentially, little has changed at the Malaysia since my last visit, except that a number of 'suites' are now available at a nightly cost of between 1,500 and 1,700 baht. These are located in a separate block in the hotel grounds. The bedrooms are furnished to a high standard with plentiful storage, a flat-screen TV, fridge, air-con, and wi-fi access (for which a charge is made); but the available accommodation varies. Some 'suites' comprise only large bedrooms with separate en-suites while others have an additional lounge area. As a result, the hotel was having difficulties in honouring all of its reservations. I would always advise guests to contact the hotel beforehand to check that rooms are still available and make sure that you arrive on time: if you are late, you may find that your accommodation has gone!
Room Tip: Standard rooms are pretty basic and lack TV. Superior or Deluxe rooms are furnished to a higher stan...
