Just arrived back in Australia after spending 8 nights at centrepoint.....I was very impressed, I found it to be spotless everything in the place gleamed. I had 2 wonderful girls clean my room everyday & even had a visit from someone just to check I was happy with the room.....The gym is a cracker and has everything you could need......the breakfast had a wide variety of food and I had no problems finding a table. The free wifi was fast and fantastic......I was on the 27th floor which had great views. Normal check out time is 12 but I asked for a 2pm checkout when I made the booking & not a problem.On arrival I paid for my 8 nights accom & they also took a 3000Baht deposit!!!! this I found rather strange but they refunded it to me on my checkout....
Centrepoint is in the perfect spot in Pratunum for shopping handy to everything.
And what an asset to this hotel are the wonderful security boys who work there...they open doors get you cabs carry your luggage and they are just the happiest nicest bunch of boys & they give you a little salute everytime they see you..........I shall happily recommend centrepoint to my friends.
Room service is fast and delicious. I found the bed to be hard.

We stayed in Centre Point on our return journey from Koh samui between 5th Jan to 8th Jan 2012. The rooms were very spacious with a well-stocked kitchenette and all necessary appliances and utensils. Its bang in front of Pantip Plaza - the IT/gadget shopping stop of Bangkok. Our room on 12th floor had a small balcony with a great view of the skyline and Baiyoke sky.
Breakfast as decent though with limited options and usually crowded due to limited seating space.
TV had limited channel options for English viewers, though I think its common among all hotels in Bangkok.
Overall decent stay.

Have stayed here several times and apart from the wildly fluctuating prices charged for the same type of room (at the tourist office) we had no complaints. The room allocated was spacious, clean and well maintained. The a/c worked fine and the bathroom functioned well with plenty of hot water. The bed was comfortable but as it is on wheels on a tiled floor tended to 'walk' away from the wall. Breakfast was excellent although on occasions the room was crammed full with people. I didn't try the pool. Location is good, close to malls and markets. MBK is a short journey away. Would stay again but I would look elsewhere if quoted 3k+ baht next time.

We stayed 4 nights in Centerpoint Petchburi and were upgraded to deluxe suite with kitchenette at 15th Floor (Room 1506). The room is big and spacious (47m2 ) with all facilities like cable TV, hair dryer, in-room safe, sofa, coffee table and all utensils you need for cooking and dining. Free Wi-fi connection provided and good room service as well. Hotel was situated opposite the IT mall and near to shopping centers like Platinum, Central World and 20mins walk to Siam Paragon and MBK.

Buffet breakfast spread is good esp the coffee. Nice swimming pool, Jacuzzi, gym and sauna. Staff and security were friendly and helpful. We tried to flag a metered taxi to Chinatown and no taxi wants send us there. The CP security is very helpful and got us a metered taxi to Chinatown.

Normal/ Jam
CP – Chinatown: 60Baht / 80Baht
CP – MBK: 50Baht
CP – Sukhumvit: 50Bhat
CP – Chatuchak: 80Baht/ 100Baht

There are 2 things which we had problem with: Air-con and hot shower. Both can go to extreme high/low temperature by itself and we have a hard time controlling it. Sometimes it gets go hot/cold in the night; we have to wake up and re-set the temperature.
