“felt like home, very cosy and friendly”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 October 2011

Very freindly from the moment we arrived. The room was so large in the deluxe so we asked for a superior the next night and stayed another 2. Very cosy, felt like home. The placs is so unique would of loved to see in all the rooms, someone has put a lot of time into this place.
The superior rooms are very adequate and roomy. The weekend market is great and very close

“Worse Hotel we stayed in Thailand”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 September 2010

we chose Pradipat because it was near by the MoChit North bus Terminal, since we were taking a 5AM bus to the Cambodian border.
When we told out taxi driver we wanted to go there he started laughing, and tried to recommend other places, but we thought it was one of those scams you hear about and insisted on going there. Now we know why he was laughing...
First impression was bad, but we were too tired... the room we stayed at wasn't clean at all.
When we left the place at 4:20AM many of the rooms had the door open, I leave that to your imagination....
And on top of that I think it was expensive for a place like that.... later on our trip we stayed at a MUCH NICER hotel for a much lower rate.

“Beautiful and courteous”

Every room was uniquely designed. We stayed there twice and loved it both times. We requested specific room designs and were accommodated both times. The staff was quick to see to our needs. We immediately received a cold glass of water every time we returned from our outings. Nothing like cold water to revitalize from the Thai humidity!

“When chic meets good Thai hospitality”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 January 2010

Aside from the design of the rooms which remains the selling point of the hotel, the service from the staff here was what made an impression on me. Free tuk-tuk service to Chatujak market, a mere ten minutes away, was provided. And the staff always had a smile on their face no matter how mundane our requests were. We didn't even feel obliged to tip here because the staff were so friendly.

There is free internet at the computer in the "living room" with the TV next to the reception desk. There is free wi-fi in all the rooms. Breakfast was alright. Room was bigger than we expected and there is even a cute little patio at the front of our room at the ground floor!

If you just want to shop in the city everyday, then this location might be slightly inconvenient and a little pricey considering the taxi fares you have to spend. If you are looking for a high-end boutique hotel where everything is perfect, this is probably not for you either (the shower we had was a little faulty and there were mosquitoes in the room unfortunately). But if you are looking for friendly faces to mingle with and a place to enjoy your vacation, this place is exactly what you are looking for. I would say Reflections (now renamed to "Mystic Place") is definitely where i would go back to if i simply want to relax.

PS: There are more girls/women guests at this hotel, and its not hard to see why.

“Great designs in need of maintenance”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 November 2009

Stayed during early august..chose this hotel due to reviews in tripadvisor.
Very cute little hotel in the area call Pradipat. i've stayed in two different rooms
for two nites which cost 1500baht/nite. Pradipat is about 20 minutes drive from
MBK. 35-45 minutes from airport. Nearest BTS is Saphan Kwai, walking distance
from hotel is 15 minutes. Distance from Saphan Kwai to Siam Paragon BTS is 20 min.

Room 402
Pretty noisy as it faces the main road.Very spacious and vintage. I did not use the bathtub as i find it not so 'clean'.
Bed frame was quite dusty. Love the colorful windows and Flat TV.Overall ok.

Room 305
This is the room with the private roof top. Less noise compare to #402 but climbing stairs is quite tiring. Room is clean except the roof top. Lamp was broken and cigarettes stains on table n chairs.I found the shower area a bit odd as it was situated at the end of the stairs leading to the roof.

We ordered room service ,food was so so...did not have breakfast though. There are free Wifi and also free internet at lobby. Staff are all great but only some of them can speak good english. Do mind that the free tuk tuk is sometime not available or not according to timetable given. There are free DVD and CDs for rental. Some travel books available at lobby as well.

It was a good experience to stay..very unique~ But rooms definately need some maintenance work..

Tip:(try to request to stay in different rooms during ur stay! enjoy!)
