Just stayed for our third time at this hotel & still love it. Staff are really friendly, helpful & cute too. Stayed on a suite which is large with separate lounge, good bathroom with separate shower & bath, dressing room & big bedroom with huge king size bed big enough for 3. Bed was comfortable & good choice of pillows. Laundry service cheap & good quality. Not a cheap place to stay by Thai standards but location & service make it worth it. Breakfst great too & included in room rate & available 24 hours a day as us room service meals & drinks. Will stay there again.

A quaint treasure, and a regular haunt for us in Bangkok, due to it's prime location, GBLT friendliness and long serving english speaking staff. 24 hour free breakfast, and comfortable beds make it the perfect base. Located very close to Patpong night market, and all the various silom activities, you may find yourself never taking a taxi or tuk tuk anywhere else. Many of the staff live on site, and have been there for up to 17 years! The staff are friendly and have great memories and extremely polite and respectful. The rooms (and particularly the bathrooms) are starting to see their day, but still retain the thai feeling with wall treatments and design elements. All rooms are fairly large by western standards. We opt, where available, for the 2 bedroom deluxe suite, which has great facilities. When not available, we take 2 deluxe rooms, often adjacent to each other. Non-smoking and smoking rooms available. Reasonable amenities include shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, ear buds and soap. Towels are large. Value for money is reasonable by Bangkok standards, but it's location and GBLT friendliness is what you are paying for. Strongly recommended for the first time travelers -- suggest using the airport pickup service to avoid BKK confusion, lines for taxis, comfort and ease of arrival. Depart by taxi.

I've been in this wonderfull hotel for at least 5 times. Every time the service was amazing. Never we met staff who was so nice, kind and polite. Breakfast is great and every Thursday night there's a free cocktail with drinks for the guests.

I have stayed in many hotels in Bangkok and this year due to the earlier service I received I booked again to stay here. The service and attitude from all the staff are great and always willing to help you no matter what with a smile. The rooms are large and spacious and very clean in compared to others I have stayed in Bangkok. I booked one night before flying to Lao and was returning in 8 days time to the Tarntawan hotel. The hotel informed me that if I wanted to leave anything with them I could and pick it up on my return trip. This meant I could leave my English winter coats with them and not have to lug them all around Lao which meant I had more room in my luggage to bring back souvenirs . Breakfast is a great plus, you can have it anytime within 24 hours. If you didn't want to wake up until 2.00pm, breakfast was still available which meant I never missed it. This is predominantly a gay hotel and if that doesn’t bother you my recommendation is to stay here. I have stayed in more luxurious hotels in Bangkok but the service has let them down.The only downside is that it would be nice to have some outside space to sunbathe but there are a couple of roof top pools near the hotel that are open to the public plus the hotel offers an outdoor swimming pool at a place nearby for around BHT400 for all day
