“Poor hotel, look elsewhere”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 January 2012

We stayed here upon a few reviews on tripadvisor from friends. We booked a Deluxe room prior to arrival due to Chinese New Year. We arrived and moved in, to find a tiny room, with a tiny bathroom. After travelling South East asia, and staying in rooms for as little as $5, at $30 (900 baht) for the deluxe room, it was very poor.

Breakfast was included however was nothing amazing. It still did save 65 baht, so that helps.

The staff were not very friendly, asking if we could get them to ring a taxi, they refused, saying that we had to use their own taxi. Due to it being so early in the morning, we had no choice but to pay the overpriced fair.

I would definitely not stay here again, and wish that we had not booked prior to arrival so that we could of moved on.

There is also a club on the right hand side when looking from the street. This will pump music into your room until 2am. Be sure to stay on the left hand side if you choose to ignore this and stay there.

“Good value guesthouse with breakfast”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 October 2011

We got this guesthouse after one night in the dire Green House, and it felt like luxury. We paid 700B instead of 750 as we booked for more than one night. For that price we got breakfast, a great room which felt more like a hotel room than a guesthouse, and a 15 minute massage taster each for free, from the boutique on the 6th floor. The room is well equipped, quiet and comfortable and has a TV (which we didn't use), and we really enjoyed our time here. A little pricier than some in the area, which is why it isn't a 5 star review, but if you want a good QUIET night's sleep, you won't go wrong here.

“You get what you pay for”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 September 2011

The hotel is cheap and you get aircon included which is a bonus in Thailand!! Breakfast is also included, although it is very basic with literally 3 choices. The room also includes wardrobe and TV. However, the bathroom is tiny and the shower literally soaks the whole bathroom and the room is very cramped and small with no window.

Generally though, the hotel is in a good location - close to the all the activity but not in the centre of it. The hotel also has a really good suit shop at the front of it, o you can order your tailored suits!

The hotel is okay, would only stay here for a few days though as it is cramped and just what you need to get by.

“It was alright”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 August 2011

First of all, you get what you pay for, and for a 500 Baht/night room, you can not expect too much. How ever, the room was clean, had a working AC and free water bottles. The staff was nice and helpful and the restaurant served an OK breakfeast.

The only thing that bothered me was the thin walls, the khao san road party crew next door kept me up many hours of the night.

The hotel has a Tailor by the entrance that I can recommend. They are probably more expensive than other tailors in BKK, but they are quality! Very good experience.

The hotel is situated a couple of hundred meters from khao san road, so it is probably a lot quiter than other hotels near by.

Overall I had a great stay, total 4 days (2+2) and was pleased with my experience.
