we stayed here APRIL 2010 7 nights a very clean and tidy hotel a bit dated and very basic for the money very good value £24 a night BB a room breakfast very basic . STAFF REALLY FRIENDLY AND VERY HELPFULL THE MAIN MAN ON THE RECEPTION DESK IS A GUY CALLED GULF, mention trip advisor he jump through hopps for you, a great bloke a creadit to this hotel.

It's a dated hotel right in the middle of the action of Bangkok. They serve a great breakfast and the staff are very helpful. I got two rooms for 1100 Thai Baht each per night. Just walk in no reservation is typically required. You can also get a deluxe for 1900 tb.

We have stayed at this hotel many times. Tho bathrooms are a bit dated but the place is great value. When they ask how many nights you are staying just do what I did. "i'll take the room for one night but if you can give me a room on a nice floor I will stay longer." The clerk immediately changed us to the 7th floor and they room was great. We kept both rooms for four nights.

This hotel is close to everything in Bangkok. You can walk to the Sky Train, get Tuk Tuk's at the door or the best way is just to go everywhere in a meter taxi. Just open the door of any taxi and say where you are going. If the driver wants to go by meter he will say yes. If he asks for a special rate just let him go and get the next one. Cab from this hotel to the airport for those early morning departures will be less than 300 baht. MBK shopping centre is about 60 baht and you can walk to the night market at Patpong or get a really short Tuk Tuk ride for 40 baht.

Did I mention the great breakfast is included even with the 1100 baht rooms? What a deal.

The room is large, clean and quiet. The breakfast buffet is acceptable although it is not authentic thai food. The staff is friendly. The location is excellent as it is within walking distance to Patpong and Silom road. The price is cheap around 1200 baht. The customers are mostly asians with a lot of japanese tourists.

The only complaints I had was sometimes, the water in the shower is not hot enough. And also there was NO free internet. Overall, its a good hotel in an excellent location given the low room rate.
