The Elegance Suites was a pleasant surprise. If you see past the neighborhood, you will discover that this unique hotel is truly a treasure to behold. All rooms are suites with high quality furnishings. The rooftop pool is a marvel - a true oasis in the middle of an otherwise desolate area. The water is clean and fresh and service efficient and warm. The breakfast buffet is simple yet delicious. Another high point is its location. Close to the subway and the river, this hotel can serve as a homebase for the most adventurous traveller. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely trip to Thailand and our last stop was Bangkok where in we had booked 2 nights at this hotel coz of the club mahindra affiliation.
To start with the hotel was difficult to find which frustrated us. The location itself is not that great -- one you would prefer on a holiday.
Worst came true when we got our room and it was stinking like hell. Needless to say it wasn't clean. The carpet , the linen , the curtains not sure what was smelling but it was really bad.
And to top it all we spotted a lizard in our room. We complained about it at the desk and they sent someone who calmly caught the lizard and crushed it under his foot and smiled at us saying "OK now". That was it.
We spent half an hour googling for other hotels, made a few calls to check on availability and immediately checked out of this place.
Bangkok is a nice place and has some amazing hotels at a very reasonable price.
There is no reason to settle for anything less and definitely not for this crappy hotel.

arrived at midnight very tired only to find the placed closed down, not infromed by customer.service@venere.com that it had been closed for over a week before we arrived, we had a wonderful taxi driver who found us a good place, cheap but clean and a great breakfast called the Swan hotel in the Silom area

Hotel is so so....but in a very good place. But unfortunately in the mid of our stay it gor closed. So please dont plan anything in it for the next 6 months atleast
