i saw this hotel just passing bye,it offered doubles for 1150 baths.the room was very big and quiet.it looked on a corridor-terrace far enough from the main ,noisy street.the skytrain and the undergroung are 5 minutes away.for this price this is an excellent option in silom.the area around is well connected, the river is 10 minutes walk, patpong,i feel it is losing his glamour,is 10 minutes away.the myanmar embassy is round the corner

Have stayed here for many years. Great staff, great location, great spot to meet friends.

Room Tip: Rooms that have big windows with a view other than a wall are hard to come by. It can be a bit dark...

“Good location but rooms not so good”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 November 2011 via mobile

Stayed for 5 nights in oct 2011. Very good location but rooms in old wing at 1150 baht double ,smelling of smoke, dim light ,old bath fittings, not very pleasant. New wing at 1400 was better ,good food options on ground floor. American breakfast ,average but good price 120 baht.

“Village in the City”

Silom village is a comfortable hotel down on Silom Road half way between the river and Sala Deang BTS station. It has maintained its low key, family style for as long as I have been staying there since 2001. The staff is friendly and helpful. Not everyone speaks English but someone at reception does as do most of the merchants in the cute boutiques that surround the tropical outdoor eating areas. The rooms have large comfortable beds, with full bath. I like the new building, as its a bit more modern and set back from the street.. The Mon-Fri lunch meal offering is buffet style at just over a $1 per plate. Seafood dinner is more and geared to the nightly bus loads of tourists but you can find plenty on the menu and ask to have the chili adjusted to your taste. The rooms are always clean and housekeeping staff is always on duty. In the room is TV, with cable stations, a fridge and plenty of room! There is internet in the reception. Close by are many restaurants, and coffee spots including Starbucks accross the street and down a bit in Baan Silom. There is a Tops supermarket close by and a 7-11 next to the hotel. Its an easy walk to SuraSak station or a 40baht taxi ride to SalaDeang BTS/Silom MRT and the main Silom Road activities around Silom Complex. Silom Village is very affordable, clean and safe. Close to transportation, to easily access shopping at Siam Paragon,Central World etc. Lumpini Park is my favorit escape in Bangkok so its close to that too! Enjoy.

Room Tip: Ask for a room in the new building!
