Traveling with a group, this hotel was booked for us.

It's clearly a staple for Chinese and Vietnamese tour groups, which was fine...the staff are clearly used to getting groups checked-in and out of the lobby quickly.

The decor all over and the rooms seemed a little dated and ours smelt of smoke but as part of a group it was fine. The minibar helped:)

If I had to personally choose I'd probably not stay here again. The location was quite good, near Nana, but in terms of using when on business or traveling with my wife I'm not sure. There must be better options?

Never tried the wifi, breakfast, gym or pool so won't comment on those but I will say, any questions raised to the front desk were always answered professionally.

I stayed in Royal Benja for three nights and found it as one of the nicest place to stay in with gr8 location,superb restaurant,gr8 buffet breakfast,courteous staff and too big rooms....Overall great experience.

We only stayed one night on our way out of Thailand. It was good value for what you got. Good location.. close to many restaurants and 7/11. Sky train is just at the end of the block. I would stay there again when we return to Bangkok.

I was very impressed with this hotel. The rooms are clean and large, and well-kept, with a great bathroom. The room service is prompt and the food good. The breakfasts are a terrific bargain, and they are part of the room price. They put on a large spread of food, buffet style, every morning. The breakfast buffet ranges in food styles from Asian to Western, and there is plenty of it. The staff keeps a watch on the tables so your tea or coffee is always filled quickly. I'd suggest asking for a room on one of the upper floors because the views of Bangkok are fantastic. It's about 5 minutes from a skytrain station (Nana) so you can get about Bangkok easily. And all this for a very low price by western standards.
