Just got back from Asia - hotel is off the main street - no street noise when you're sleeping. Within walking distance to Patpong and trains. Amazing breakfast - definitely recommend to include the breakfast. Staff was very accommodating. Free computers to use if you don't bring along any wifi devices like us. Would recommend to any of my friends. Also very inexpensive to stay. Thanks again Silom City Hotel for your hospitality.

Silom City Hotel is impressive as well. The staff are hospitable and very much accommodating. The amenities are very good and facilities clean. I will definitely recommend this to my friends.
Bangkok, is home away from home. The climate is similar to ours. The hospitality of Thai people reminds me of how Filipino are. I will never forget this trip. It was certainly an enjoyable experience.

My wife and I stayed here for a week and had a absolutely wonderful time. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I really can't say that enough. We had some problems while we were there (not with the hotel just some travel issues) but everyone from the manager to the security guard was more than willing to lend a hand if we asked. The manager even personally checked with us every day to make sure we were taken care of. The location of the hotel was nice as well. It's located off the main road (Silom) in a little alley type street so you can get away from the noise and traffic and see and enjoy some really colorful local markets and food vendors. We stayed in a balcony suite. The room was large although I do agree with some other reviews that it could use some updating in the decor but for the price it was well worth it. The breakfast was ok with nothing to complain about. There was plenty of coffee, fruit, tea, and the menu changed daily. The free wifi was nice, it helped us plan our day to day activities and map out the city. Traveling from here was easy. The front desk would call us a taxi when we asked and the doorman would explain to the driver where we wanted to go. We never got lost or ripped off by a bad driver and with the help of business cards written in English and Thai from the hotel, we always found our way back. You could easily walk from the hotel to Patpong or see all the sites along Silom road in minutes. There are plenty of tour businesses located very close by that can help you book whatever tours you want as well. When we return to Thailand (hopefully very soon) we'll definitely stay here again.

Silom City Hotel is essentially a nice hotel with hard working professional staff, in a decent location. The facilities are all there and fairly decent, if a little dated - it does seem that this hotel was 'state-of-the-art' in the 1990s and could do with a refurbishment, though its really clean, well presented and everything works perfectly well.
The close proximity of the shops, evening street market, sky train and ferry make it extremely well located.
Id recommend the hotel for a good value for money trip.
