“holiday of my life”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 January 2012

the location and facilities were just great; me and my wife also stayed in Exec Jacuzzi Suit thru booking (early bird) facility and it was very financially convenient. The hotel s location is near to restaurants, shopping malls, MRT (sky train) and BRT (metro stations). Also from airport u can take the express train to station where it s nearest to hotel; I recommend taking a tuk tuk from there to hotel in order not to walk to much.
The room was couzy, relaxing with a big sofa, kitchenette where you can find each and every appliances u can dream of even to cook,a refrigerator; also a big and a soft bed, big toilet with a well functioning jacuzzi.
Also we enjoyed swimming in the pool just between two skyscraping towers of the Hotel. Breakfast was fantastic with lots of variaties to choose in an open buffet type with home made omelettes. Staff was very friendly, helpful and always smiling as all the people in Thailand. The hotel also got a very big fitness center inside if u are interested.
Location is near to entertainment places, massage places, and you can always use sky train to visit night bazaar or other shopping malls. We always got Tuk tuk to visit city center temples (first take the tuk tuk to river and than used motors).
just one remark though; i could not find a roof restaurant as it would have been great to check the panaroma from the 30th floor.
I highly recommend that hotel to everyone, to every sort of visitors who wants to taste a life in Thailand, Bangkok.

Room Tip: try to get an exec jacuzzi suite in higher floors, so u can better enjoy panaroma of Bangkok if your...

“Cheap!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 November 2011

Sukhumvit 23 is a great little area..... so easy to get anywhere from here and there are lots of great restaurants and bars and of course Soi Cowboy is at the front door. Terminal 21 shopping centre is across the road - fabulous!!

This hotel is excellent value via AGODA right now - we had a great room with a fully equipped kitchen and fantastic views for 60USD per night.

Room Tip: Deluxe via Agoda. Awesome bath!!

“Nice convenient hotel”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 November 2011

We stayed in an Executive Jacuzzi Suite from the hotel, It was a specious clean suite. It was a hotel with guests that are businesslike in Bangkok. We had a good stay and no complaints except one; I made also a transfer booking online to pick us up from the arrival airport.
By arrival was there nobody waiting for us. We called the hotel and they know nothing about a transfer. I prepaid it already (1500 Baht) and it was al confirmed by email (I had prints with me).
So we jumped in a taxi and we arrived for 300 Baht at the Hotel (why to book for a 1500 baht transfer what not appear). At the lobby they told us that a driver was waiting at the airport but not see us (strange first they told us that they not know about a transfer). When there was a driver waiting we had found him, I was looking all over the arrival from the airport.
They gave me a refund and for me was the case closed.

“great loc, extremely good value”

I stayed at Jasmin during the low season and had a very spacious suite with an excellent view of BKK. I booked from the hotel's website and the overall value at something like 120 USD is really difficult to beat given the size of the room and the location. It's less than a five minute walk to the Asoke BTS station, there's a 24 hour restaurant right outside the front door, as 7/11s and street food vendors. If you're looking for night life Soi Cowboy is just 20 or so yards away- this and the Grand Millenium Sukhumvit or the best options, this being the better value. The layout of the hotel with the entrance leading directly to the elevators and the lobby being on the 10th floor is also ideal- you don't bother people as you come and go at night and they don't bother you. If you are not particularly looking for night life the hotel is professionally managed and you can be sure your stay (or family's stay) will not be hampered by the partiers and their noise while still having your stay livened up by BKK's one of kind scene. (However if seeing things like oddly matched couples having breakfast in the morning bothers you you're better off with a hotel far away from Sukhumvit).

There were a few things I saw in the room and around the facilities that needed to be repaired, the worst being a large stain on the carpet when you get off the elevator on I think the 21st floor. Those were the only issues I had with an otherwise perfect stay. I doubt I will stay anywhere else in BKK.

“Many things going for this hotel!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 September 2011

I have stayed here many times, but have also tried at least 30 other hotels in Bangkok. I keep coming back to Jsmine City as it has so many things going for it; It is very close to both MTS and BTS trains, just cross the road and then you can get to either by walking undercover, great during the monsoon. The pool is good and not crowded. The rooms are big, clean, new, and quiet. Staff are very friendly, prices are good (book before you go, the walk-in rates are high) and there are many choices of where to eat. There is heaps of streetfood in the area, a good pizza/pasta place, subway, 7/11 all within 2 minutes walk of the hotel, plus of course the hotel food. Soi cowboy is less than 3 minutes walk, and the hotel is visitor friendly, although security is still very good as you need your room key to activate the elevators.

Room Tip: Consider upgrading to the Jacuzzi room, it is only a few dollars extra and worth every cent!
