The hotel is a bit early 90s in terms of decor and mod cons. It's too far to walk to anything significant and on "the wrong side of the river" for tourist attractions. Breakfast was good but laundry prices extortionate and comparable to a 5 star which it certainly is not. The pool was closed for renovation which is why I could not score this any higher. We were suckered into the cheap rates and we know why now. Do not use the hotel car, it's at least 3 times the going rate for a cab. Great view of he river at night though. The gym is a joke.

Where should I start. I booked this hotel for my parents and had tons of problem with them. First, it took them forever to process the reservation. After 30-45 min of checking in, they put my parents on the 9th floor. Two hours later, they asked my parents to move to the 7th floor because they want to do some painting the next day. The room there smells very badly, so I had to make a complain call and asked them to please move my parents to a different room. They moved my parents to a superior room even though we booked and paid for the deluxe room with river view -- not cool at all! When I suspected that my parents had phone problem in their room, I asked them to please check their phone. The response was shocking. The operator said, "there's nothing we can do, why don't you get a friend to walk over to their room and see what happen to their phone". At this point, I had it with this hotel! Never again!!!

Stayed 1 night as a guest of my Thai colleague. Clean, quiet and comfortable room with a view of the river. As this is the flood season, some water from the river had overflowed onto the outdoor terrace on the riverbank.
My only request is for complimentary wi-fi to be made available.

Very remote location, unfriendly staff, took so long to check in and out, limited TV channels.
The only good thing is the beautiful river view.
