Booked my room online, when I arrived, the tried to charge me 40% over the confirmed booking price. The manager of the hotel confirmed the high price. After I complained and showed my receipt they tried to charge me about 20% over the agreed price. Unfriendly and uncooperative throughout.

As for the room (I arrived late and had to take the room due to an early morning meeting the next day): clean but run down, the pics were taken long ago, now the rooms are scuffed up and worn. Vintage and small tv, shower over the bathtub, no hot water for the sink.

Good points: it is well located near the skytrain and the emporium mall. If they changed management they could turn it around well.

Overall: this is just the type of hotel I usually love, and enjoy staying at most. However, they are so pushy, and obviously taking advantage of foreign tourists, adding hidden costs etc., and not keeping the rooms up. THere are far too many better alternatives in BKK, you can do much better for the price.

Hotel is modern, spacious, clean, has all that you need in a hotel and room, has a small by good swimming pool to cool off after a day out in bangkok. the location is about 5 mins walk to the sky train. no shopping in the area, but lots of japanese restaurants in the area. we found this hotel to be amazing for what we paid which was $50 per night on a deal that we found through trip advisor.
can't fault this place, we were even given early check in as the counter staff could see we were worn out from our travels.

This hotel was a great find for us. It is very well located close to the skytrain with exceptionally helpful and polite staff. Breakfast was extensive in a very modern, pleasant restaurant setting. We ate at the restaurant twice during our brief stay because the meals were delicious, service was exceptional and the environment was so quiet and pleasant. Our room was cosy, clean and comfortable with a pleasant outlook. Thanks to the staff for our stay. We'd like to visit again.

Great Hotel in a relatively quiet area although only 5 minutes walk to the sky train...
Lovely Staff,room was clean.....great value.......
Breakfast was much better than we expected and the breakfast area was extremely trendy.....
Pool area was nice although you are surrounded by buildings(was to be expected in Bangkok!)
Take the skytrain to mo chit(20 minutes in air conditioned train) to go to the best weekend Market in the world....
