We stayed at the hotel for three nights at beginning of a two week holiday to Thailand. On arrival we were told at 0830 our room wasnt ready and it would take about an hour. I wasnt too bothered by this as i felt an hour was reasonable and quite often hotels wont let you check in until noon . The only downside was i was tired jet lagged and not even often a drink and towle like the arriving airline staff seemed to recieve.
The concierge and staff at the front of hotel were extemely helpful and ordered taxis etc. It was also a 15 minute walk to the metro by turning left out of hotel crossing foot bridge and carrying on down the road.Although the hotel was a way out i would consider using it again and we took advantage of the complimentary shuttle to Patpong.
I felt reception staff were often under pressure on our third day we were unable to get back into our room and had to wait nearly 20 minutes at the desk as the only member of staff working there was busy .. surely someone could have come to our assistance ... I m sure this hotel is quieter than many others in Bangkok however i did find the pack of street dogs in the wooded area below a big annoyance at 2am every morning.
I felt this hotel was more geared towards airline staff and business clients than tourists ( albeit i couldnt fault the front door staff )
