My first stay at Sofitel Silom Hotel was impressive. The lobby has renovated to new brand, Pullman, this April. The location was in central Silom area which can walk from Chong Nontri skytrain Station. As a member of Accor, I was treated with welcome drink at pool bar which was a coctail drink. The pool was quite small for me and for the hotel size.
I wish to spend time at this hotel again.

Great location, good size rooms; lovely smell when you enter the property; it needs a bit of an upgrade. I would say that it is not really up to my expectations of the "New Sofitel" properties in Asia; it perhaps was when it was first taken over several years ago from Lee Gardens but now it lags behind a little. Still this is very much worth considering; one thing that should be noted however is the Swimming Pool is basically a tiny plunge pool on about the 5th floor; this is a let down for those going to Bangkok who want to enjoy the city but also lounge around a pool and relax; this property is not good at all for this.

Very clean and excellent service. Ideally located for local restaurants. Street markets. Overall very good experience.
