We stayed at this hotel from Feb 1 to 5, 2012. The lobby is still under renovation so when we first arrived at the hotel, we were quite disoriented as we had to pass through a hallway covered in white gauzy cloth with LCD screens on the walls showing a sultry lady. The hallway though is well lighted with chandeliers. Reception is currently at the 3rd floor. They offer coffee, croissant and fruits at the business area at the far end of the reception. This is a nice touch for guests waiting to check in or check out.
We were given a room at the 28th floor. The room is quite spacious. The bed and pillows are of very good quality. We were very happy with out choice from their pillow menu. One thing I didn't like about the room is the double door of the toliet/bath that was hard to close completely.
The area near the hotel is quiet. There are Thai massage shops, jewelry shops and tailoring shops. If I were to go back to Bangkok, I would choose one near the Central World Mall as this is where we did most of our shopping.
