I stayed for the new year eve for three nights, though for business and meetings. It is centrally located, excellent service and nicely decorated. There were theme parties for the new year and the hotel was full of visitors. The pool side is a lovely locale though in winters and without sun, I could not enjoy it. Restaurant serves multi cuisine and is really good. I found this a little more costly than the value of services, but nevertheless they fully match their tagline.

this hotel is in the famous locality of kathmandu, the capital of nepal. near to narayanhiti palace, it offers cosy rooms but food and services are very expensive. so expensive that it pinches. also has a casino and a coffee house with adequte parking space.

We travelled as a group and stayed here three separate times over the course of almost three weeks in Nepal. The staff was excellent, we received free wifi as part of the group rate, and the breakfast buffet can hold its own pretty much anywhere in the world.

The location is pretty good for Kathmandu. The Royal Palace, Thamel shopping area, and a great pizza place called Fire & Ice are all within walking distance.

Quite frankly we would have been satisfied with Western toilets, hot water, and a room free of rodents and dirt. Perhaps our expectations were lower than some of the previous reviews, but I would totally stay here again.
