I arrived in Kampala around midnight and was spending two nights here before beginning a 12 day primate trek with Volcanoes Safaris. The hotel was excellent. My standard room was spacious and very comfortable and very clean. The food in the hotel was very good, the buffet breakfast was excellent. The grounds are pretty expansive.

I was here with work recently, wonderful hotel, very friendly staff and excellent facilities, only down side is getting to and from the airport can be a bit of a long journey in the taxi.

Great hotel for the rooms , service. Gym is fantastic and a stunning pool area is beautifully maintained. Really friendly staff. Such a shame about the food , apart from breakfast ( there are not too many ways to screw up an egg..) the rest was average to awful.

This is every company's go-to hotel for Kampala, and it doesn't disappoint. After staying up country in some of the smaller districts, I loved coming back to the hotel - they have thought of every comfort you might need and are happy to help you in any way. The television system went out while I was there, but it wasn't a big deal (there were so many other things to enjoy - like the amazing pool). Room service was fine. Breakfast had great variety and tasted wonderful - and the coffee was perfect, nothing like the Nescafe you find everywhere else. Taxis are very expensive from the hotel, and there's no standard rate among drivers - you'll always get quoted the mzungu rate. The only disappointing thing is that they were fully booked for half of my stay and I had to go to another hotel. I'm looking forward to my next visit.
