Klein Windhoek Guest house is well-priced with very helpful staff and a more than adequate breakfast. The setting is quiet, although close to everything in town, it's easy to find and we weren't surprised to see that it was packed during the 3 nights we stayed there. On arrival, we had a few hiccups like the kettle which didn't work, 1 set of towels short, no chairs for the outside table etc. However, after pointing this out, all of these issues were rectified in 5 minutes, without a negative look or vibe! The wi-fi set-up with little desk was great as we could log on and handle some leftover work queries before leaving Windhoek. Overall, although not fancy, we found it warm, welcoming and value-for-money.

Arriving at KWG found that even though they reserved our room they never made a note of the booking in their system. Initial service wasn't too helpfull almost as you were lucky we've got a space. If you only have to overnight and eat out, this is probably not too bad but don't expect too much for breakfast or service.

We stayed here at the beginning of a trip, came back after a week and then again at the end. It felt a little like coming home. The staff were welcoming and friendly. I cannot praise them highly enough - they were extremely helpful to us, always very patient with our various questions and requests and unfailingly polite. We stayed in 3 different rooms - all of which were good - air con, TV, facilities for making hot drinks; the bathrooms were large, the water always hot. The location was great too - quiet, and it felt safe. Reception would always organise a transfer - which again was safe, affordable and friendly.

Was at Klein twice and it lacked that personal touch. No friendly service, the first room i was booked was ok but the second room was dark and the aircon had water leaking. Guesthouse needs a feminine touch to bring it to life.
