Mauritius is an hidden gem and most beautiful place in the Indian ocean.
Hostel Le Capitaine,firstly looking like in the middle of the no-where.
But, the grand clean rooms are very spacious and airy.
Ensuite-rooms coming with bunk bed + table & chairs + fan + wardrobe.
No Tv and A/C at the rooms.Bathroom was OK.There was an handy common
kitchen and small living room with Tv and internet/pc.Big balcony at the
first floor is essential and It is possible to find an friendly atmosphere.
The public buses crossing approx. ten minutes walking distance, after the
catching to bus, Port Louis is not far.You can relax at the harbour front
shopping complex or find the vheicle to everywhere from the main station.
Port Louis is a bargain place for all type clothing with reasonable prices.
Hotel is not near to the beach and renting a car will be an good idea
to go to the northern famous beaches and see the other beautiful places
which the management can arranging with an reasonable price
(though I did not rent)
Manager and everything of this complex, Mrs Fatiha is a very sweet lady,
who is trying to arrange and asist you everything for your rest.Also she has
an grocery shop at downstairs and enough to find basic foods without bread.
From hostelbookers they are giving a reasonable prices.
Yes,it is not beachfront but, for the affordable prices and grand rooms
and wonderful management worth to go.
Next time If, Mrs Fatiha will arrange me a reasonable car,
I will defienetely come back to this home like hostel.
