Welcomed on first entering and given a 'welcome drink'. Service and staff pleasant, although the newish 'coffee bar' in the lobby wasn't often manned. Lift worked impeccably during our stay.
Rooms were satisfactory - we had a total of 3 different rooms due to the organisation of the tour, and all beds were comfortable and of a good size. The bathrooms, on the other hand were small. Clean, but one was so small you had to squeeze sideways under the washbasin to sit on the loo! Perfect if you had an upset tummy - if you get my drift!
Showers weak and shower curtains didn't reach the sides of the shower trays - hence bathroom floors always wet after showering - take care with slipperiness.
Aircon worked fine although some of the group had problems in their rooms.
Breakfast is served up on the 6th floor and was just satisfactory; some days the bread and croissants seemed 'yesterdays', the coffee was sachets of Nescafe with hot water, and food choices were limited.
Walking down to Green Square took about 15 - 17 minutes, so location was also satisfactory.
