Yes Accra Ghana has a beach. A nice one too. The beach is pretty deserted during the week, so if you want peace and quiet, this is the place to stay. BUT on the weekend, this beach is very crowed with lots of action. Lots of places to eat, dance, drink, massage, etc. All pretty cheap too.
The hotel is really nice and well kept, with incredible grounds, pool and nice gym. The grounds are completely guarded from one end to the other and to get in and out thru the gate to the beach, you have to show your key to the guard.
Good food and the restaurant and pretty decent place for the money. Not close to the city center though. But I have stayed in Accra many times. Why would anyone want to go to the city center????

It was really a memorable 31st night for my family and I.From the moment I spoke with Philip at the customer care desk,I knew it was the right place to be with my family.Though a human institution,they try,well trained staff,nice rooms and breakfast was great.Thanks all of you for the amazing attention given us during our stay.Will come again on my birthday.

My organization had to organize a large meeting in Accra and we found that only Labadi Beach had the confernce venue that suited us. They were ok. The rooms are not so nice. The front desk is very slow. The highlight of the place is the beach front location and the restaurant there. Order the seafood plate. You wont regret it.

First time in Ghana and WHAT a hotel!!! Although this was a business not pleasure trip, it is still very easy to see how this would be the perfect place for a vacation. Check in was simple enough but after a long flight you always want it to be quicker! The room was generous, light, and quiet. The bathroom, same again. It generally had all the facilities you could want for. It is probably a good point to say that this is the same hotel that HRH Queen Elizabeth II stayed at on a state visit in the 90's as the numerous photos will let you know!!

The hotel is literally on the beach but it must be said that there is a slight pong while walking to the sand. There is also the pool which is right beside the restaurant and the gym. This is not a fitness pool but is certainly a lovely place to be around.

The food was sensational. Breakfast was plentiful and diverse with eggs any way you want, seafood, pastries, something for everyone! Lunch, was never there for it unfortunately. Dinner was absolutely incredible, one night it was lobster, another night Tornado fillet of beef.

The bar, small but perfectly formed!! With me it is not difficult. If you serve Gin and Tonic, i will be happy. They did and i was! I cant remember the gentlemen who served us but he was so so friendly as were all the staff here!

Cant wait to return in a few weeks!
