As a tour leader of a Hungarian group we faced a lot of difficoulties in this hotel. The kitchen delayed with the ordered dinner in every evening about 1-1,5 hours. We were eleven, but they prepared food only for about nine people. We asked what we want to eat. After the order, they brought something completly different.
Once we could not open our door with the magnetic key. We had been waiting one and half hour to open it., that'swhy we had less time for the organised program. We aksed the hotel management to give us some compensation (two bottle of vine), but the extremly unpolite french director - Mr. Leroy - did not want to give anything. It seemed we are for the hotel, not the hotel for the us. Don't go there, you'll have a lot of trouble in the Merina!
