Just as you'd expect deep in the Iowa cornbelt, this trim little dog-friendly motel is clean, quiet, and modestly priced. The room had both a microwave and a minifridge. A large fenced area was great for letting the dog run, and there's a long bike path immediately behind, converted from a railbed. The only downside was the jake brakes outside the window, but we stopped noticing those at bedtime.

This motel was out in the middle of nowhere, which is fine. The room was clean. The beds were ancient, but I slept well. The towels were very rough and we only got 3 of them. The breakfast was ok...they had my "make your own" waffles. The pizza the night before was a bit bland and someone stole the pizza cutter from the kitchen.
Needed a place to sleep after driving all day and night and found this off the highway. Very good find and I recommend highly.
There needs to be better management at this hotel. The pillow cases were filthy on both of the beds. They didn't even look like they were changed. The lady at the front desk was very rude to us. I don't reccommend anyone to pay this kind of money to sleep on dirty pillowcases.

I stayed at this hotel/motel during a road trip I just took from Chicago to Las Vegas. I stopped in Atlantic, IA and chose to stay a night at the Days Inn. From what I can remember the room was pretty clean, with no real problems. There was a nice continental breakfast in the morning.
