After walking in and quoted one extortionate price, I sat in the lobby and booked by Internet with booking.com, a lot less than 1/2 price, the leather settees are dirty and ready for replacing, didn't like the idea of smokers sitting just anywhere, but that's Tunisia I suppose. We had a drink in the bar and I saw the barman putting ice in drinks with his hands, cutting cheese up for bar snacks, without washing his hands first. The room was ok I suppose, nothing luxurious, bathroom ok. A/C not working so had to open window, which didn't make much difference. Had an ok sleep bed comfortable. The secure carpark we were promised was behind the hotel, the street in front was blocked off for some reason so we had to carry our luggage all the way around ourselves, there was an attendant on all night to watch the cars. We went out to look for a restaurant, one of the lobby staff came with us, which was good of him, there was nowhere clean enough to eat so went back to the hotel and ordered room service, which was ok, nothing special. Probably wouldn't stay here again unless I had to.
