I traveled to this hotel on business and my view is from that perspective.
Depending on traffic the hotel was about 15-20 minutes from the airport. It should cost you about TD5 to get there. The hotel is situated nicely on a hill and has a beautiful sweeping view of the area. The lobby is nice and large with some beautiful sitting areas. They provide PC's with internet access and supposedly free wifi in the lobby but whenever I tried to access the free wifi it kicked me to the pay portal. To be fair I didn't bother pursuing the staff about where or how I get the free wifi they said was available in the lobby.
The small hotel store was that, very small selection with no cold drinks and very few snacks.
I ordered the room service a couple of times and both meals were middling to poor, however, the meals weren't horribly expensive. The food was delivered in a timely manner and the wait staff were very good. The breakfast buffet is very expensive for what you get. It had a reasonable selection of foods but the fruits were canned, and the cereal selection woeful. They had a hot station that made omelettes but it was open once when I dined there and not open the other time. The eggs and meat provided were okay but again fairly pricey for what you paid. There are several other restaurants on the property but I didn't visit them so I can not comment.
The room that I had was excellent. Large room with sofa and great bed with excellent pillows and good duvet. The bathrooms were large and the shower had reasonable pressure. The bathrooms had a shower stall and bathtub and the toilet was placed in a separate room. The room had a minibar and balcony. Lower room floor didn't have a great view but it was a lower room floor so I didn't expect much. If you prefer a non smoking room definitely ask in advance as most of the rooms are smoking. The room I was in was a smoking room but I didn't find it too smoky. FYI, there is a bar downstairs from the room i was in (120's) and I recommend if some noise bothers you to ensure the you are placed elsewhere.
Overall the staff were very good and helpful. I had a few issues (the ATM at the hotel keeping my money for one) and they were legitimately concerned and did their best to help.
Overall, my experience in the hotel was a good one. I would recommend it.
Room Tip: Lower floor in the 120's area can be very noisy due to the bar downstairs.
