Having gone away for a quiet Christmas we were saddened to find the hotel was packed to the brim with guests. The room was not especially clean; the heating pumped out a scent of the local sewer; the 3ft beds contained 2ft 6" matresses and we gave up on room service after requesting extra pillows/blankets three times.
The walls of the rooms were also paper thin.

In the evening the dining room was packed to bursting with other guests which did not
make for a pleasant experience. There was a lack of anywhere to retire to for a quiet drink as the hotel was overrun with noisy children.

Rooms were large and clean. The breakfast was pretty terrible, but we also had dinner there one night and it was much better. Nothing special about this hotel, but was a fine place to rest our heads after full days of touring. Staff, especially the bar staff, were very nice.

We were in a tour and we stayed here for 2 nights. We like the food, the beatiful lobby, the outdoor pool was really nice. Rooms were ok, and you can count with silence, because there´s nothing around the hotel and nothing to do at night, and also during the day in the hotel, just outside activities, so you can rest if that is your goal (there is a SPA). Cons: If you want to go do the city centre you have to do a real long walk or take a cab (cheap)
