Maybe its unfair to write a review without having stayed in the hotel. I am writing this because Lonely Planet listed the hotel in the high-end section.
We were going to stay there but decided against it when we saw two of the rooms - depressing rooms and the toilets were not clean. It may have been a great place when it was built but it is not in good shape now.
The complaints book on the counter was extremely negative. We checked the complaints books in several Tunisian hotels during our travels. This was the only hotel where previous guests were obviously extremely unhappy.
