Grand foyer with lots of seating areas, however outside is quite dated pink walls. Large room with very well decorated bathroom and shower area. Very nice indian buffet meal for xmas (roast meat was also available) and also christmas crackers and presents etc. Good selection of breakfast cereal, fruits and hot food. No fresh juices available, disappointing considering price paid for stay. Lunch box contained meat samosas although we spoke to chef and requested a veg meal the previous day. Cocktails and canape's were finished in 15mins and were not sufficient for all the guests present. Entertainers/dancers were very impressive and interacted well with the guests.

Guides are treated poorly at this lodge, with repetitive food menu everyday.

Who wouldn't love watching monkeys playing on your balcony! The view of the Serengeti was unequaled. The grazing animals were so close you could hear them munching. The food was delicious and the presentation so enjoyable. The showers were huge, beautifully tiled, and they had a clothes line built in, very handy. A wonderful place to come back to after a long rewarding game drive.

visited here in october ,second of the lodges in the sopa group,
but found it a little dated a bit of a concrete jungle.
staff and food superb and could not fault just lacked the whow factor
of the other 2 lodges
safari where good saw a lot of different animals ,lion hippos leopards and cheetahs
room was large and view good ,just a little jaded in interior

We spent 2 nights here and enjoyed all of our game drives. The rooms were comfortable and we had to keep the patio doors closed as the monkeys like to come and visit. Our meals were excellent and the staff very friendly. Here as with all the sopas, we were welcomed with hot, wet towels and cool drinks. We were traveling with my sister and her husband and this was part of our 3 week trip.
