This was our first trip to Tangiers. The husband and wife who run this establishment speak English and are very accomodating. Neither the TV nor the internet worked at first, but eventually both got fixed. The dinner they served us was delicious. My wife is a pescaterian, and the fish was wonderful; we were served in a private area on the first floor. Our room was stunning -- like a movie set version of a Moroccan castle, but authentic. And the mint tea was delicious. Breakfast in the morning (included in the rate) was mainly local pastries. The only downsides were no shower (but a big bathub with a handheld shower nozzle), the hot water was slow to arrive, the place is not near anything so that we had to take a taxi to go anywhere, and the outside is not attractive with the unpaved muddy road. But the camel grazing in the field nearby was a nice touch.
