Having traveled all over the world, I can truly say this was the experience of a lifetime! Delightfully kind staff, impeccably appointed rooms, gorgeous surroundings, stunning views. The owner/proprieter could not have been more welcoming, and discreetly attentive. I loved Villa Josephine and hope to return soon! Take the plunge and spend the extra Euros/Dhs for this incedible place! Although the hotel will definitely not give you an idea of Tanger, the staff can arrange a tour guide/taxi to show you all you desire of the exotic city and its surroundings. This is a luxurious respite from a somewhat chaotic world.... Be sure to have dinner and breakfast there--The meals are terrific, and seek out a wonderful local guest, Joe, who often appears at night at the bar, and spins amazing tales of the history of the place, its people, and ex-Pat. authors, and playwrights.
