Stayed here for 2 nights with a group of friends, we have stayed here before, in 2007, but it doesn't seem as though anything has been refurbished or upgraded in that time, the rooms are adequate and clean, our room had a side sea-view with a balcony but no chairs or table on the balcony so we couldn't sit outside.
There is a fridge in the room, but no Mini-Bar and no Coffee making facilities, we like our Coffee in the mornings before breakfast so I looked for the room service menu...there isn't one! so I called reception and asked for some Coffee to be sent to our room, they seemed surprised and proceeded to tell me that it would cost extra, (as if I didn't know that! ) the un-smiling waiter who brought it to our room wanted payment for it immediately, but I told him I would pay at reception, I don't think they understand the concept or 'Room Service' and are a bit taken back if anyone requests it.
The outside Bar area is looking shabby, the sofas in the conservatory area were grubby looking. The pool was so cloudy you couldn't see the bottom of it, there were plenty of hard plastic sunbeds but didn't see any mattresses for them.
The Hotel is in a good location, near to the port and directly opposite the beach, where there are a quite few restaurants, however it was Ramadan when we were there and none of them were open. It's around a 20-30 min up hill walk to the Medina from the Hotel.
Breakfast was quite good, there was a Lady cooking Moroccan pancakes and crepes and plenty of other things to choose from.
I don't think this Hotel belongs to the Ramada Chain anymore (but I could be wrong) in any case, we wouldn't stay there again.
