“Would have been ok if it wasn't for the workmen hanging outside our window”

Stayed here with my husband, our 6 month old, and his aunt. They were redoing the plaster on the building at the time, and gave us a room directly below and beside where the work was being done. The balcony was covered in paint and plaster, and the men hanging on the side of the building could look right into our room, so we had to have the drapes closed the entire time. Also, the shower flooded every time we used it, we had to wait an hour before someone else could use it, so it would drain. blah.

I stayed several times in this hotel opened last year. the location is excellent, behind the rif hotel but with a great view over the beach. The family who owns it is so nice and welcoming, the comfort is just what is needed for a small price, the restaurant on top of the building is overlooking the city and excellent value, the bar on the ground floor is unique in tangiers, and they both serve alcohol.
