“Great hotel, Nice and Clean and friendly staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 January 2011

This is a fantastic hotel, I don't know what the people saying bad things about it are talking about! Then again, you always get uptight people who love to moan and complain about their holidays on this website.

I have been here before (last year and the year before) and I will keep coming back as long as it stays how it is. The rooms are lovely and very clean. The staff are all lovely and willing to help you with whatever you need. I think the hotel is a hidden gem and is a really lovely and comfortable hotel.

The hotel is in a great location and near to everything. You couldnt pick a better location, near all the restaurants and the medina.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

“nice option for rabat”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 January 2011

we didnt want to spend a lot of money on a riad in rabat and this was a slightly cheaper option. there is not as much charm as a riad, but this was a very good option. the rooms are nice and clean. the location is great, practically across from the train station and a few blocks away from the medina. the staff is very nice and helpful. there is a nice terrace overlooking mohammed v avenue which is a big hangout place at night for young men.

“when they will renovate it will be the best hotel in town”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 October 2010

... but today it is probably the worst one. It just celebrated its 70th anniversary and i can bet they did not do anything on the hotel since - hence it is very interesting experience, sort of tour of dirty toilets in TIbet - also interesting, but a bit distasting (maybe i exagerate here, ok, but not too much). And I disagree also that the staff is nice, they are if you compare them to a French hotel or Hungarian restaurant, but in comparison with anything in Morocco they suck too.

“Dated, unclean but great location”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 November 2009

It's location is increadible as it is situated close to nearly everything, to the train station, medina, colonial ville, new ville so it is easy to go around. But it is a really dodge place, the furniture seems to be there since ages, smelly and rotten. It is not quite clean place and as it is centred you can see a lot of people in the lobby, restaurant and around. The breakfast is terrible and so expensive. You better buy your own breakfast with half price from surrounding cafe which are same distance from th hotel to the breakfast area. I realsied it is also expensive to the quality you get in morocco. For me the bathroom, sheets and towels looked awaful and terrible. Nothing seemed cleaned as they dated to my grandma's time!!!!!
