“Great pick in Rabat!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 September 2011

We booked this hotel directly on their web site and got a great deal : 105 euros for 2 nights! The rooms were great and the bathrooms were luxurious. Wifi access in the rooms and lobby. Breakfasts were really good (especially when compared to what you'll get elsewhere in Morroco). Air conditioner isn't exceptionally powerful, so leave it on at all times to keep the room fresh. Location isn't central but you're next to the Mausoleum and you're a 15-minute walk to the grocery store (Marjane). A really great experience overall!

“Good location for sightseeing”

The hotel is in a good, quiet location close to the main sights and the medina. Rabat Ville train station is about a 15 minute walk away. However petit taxis are readily available and cheap. The rooms are small but clean. A fridge and security box were provided in the rooms. I would advise using the security box because during check in we were given rooms (twice) which were already occupied! Free internet is provided on the ground floor.

We made a last minute booking so we got the room at a good price including breakfast. Breakfast was fairly simple but nice. There was a selection of breads, pastries, ham, cheeses, egg and cereals. The restaurant is pleasant but expensive. I would recommend trying the local restaurants and cafes which are far cheaper. If I were to return to Rabat I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

“Perfect for one night”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 August 2011

I stayed here for one night before starting a volunteer program. This hotel is a good place to stay for one night. The location is a bit strange and far away from any attractions. During my stay I could not find one staff member who spoke English which made things a bit difficult. My room was small but clean. This is a good place to stay after flying into Rabat before starting your Moroccan travels!

“nice and calm”

The Shéhérazade is definitely an European Hotel. The desk staff was friendly. The rooms were small but nice and clean. The room's dim lightning could be labeled as "romantic" or "dark" depending of your mood.

The restaurant was nice. Breakfasts were great. The diner's menu had some interesting french dishes.

All our room had wifi, even the one on the 3rd floor. The signal's quality was fine enough to browse the web, use skype and do some videoconferencing.

The location is a little off center but close to the Mausoleum of Mohammed V and in the diplomatic quarter.
