“Wonderful Riad!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 October 2010

The riad is really really nice.
It has been recently renewed with good taste and attention to details!

The owners unfortunately dont speak perfect english, but no problem mixing with our limited french!!
The riad is in excellent position, 15/20 minutes from the train station walking, in the center of the medina and close to main attractions!

Unfortunately it was raining a lot during our 2 days of stay, so we couldnt fully enjoy the terrace, but we've been served the tasty and abundant breakfast inside...

We would recommend a stay here, price are really fair compared to other solutions in rabat, and the place is really beautiful!

“Good location, all main sites within walking distance”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 October 2010

Staff and owner speak limited English, so if you speak French it is easier to communicate. Our limited French was sufficient. Beds are comfy and breakfast is tasty, good location (15 min walk from train station), overall a pleasant stay.

“Elegant and Calm”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 July 2010

We stayed at Riad Marhaba for only one night right at the end of a two week trip through Morocco. Sadly, I arrived in Rabat very sick from our last destination and so was not able to enjoy the beauty of this place as much as I would have liked. The riad's interior is absolutely beautiful with amazingly intricate stone and wood work. Our suite was stunning and the terrace was lovely--a great place to stay in Rabat.

“Most wonderful, comfortable, friendly Riad in Rabat!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 March 2010

I have stayed at Fred and Cecile's beautiful Riad twice and intend to stay there every time I visit Rabat, which is quite often. The Riad itself is a lovely example of Moroccan construction and decor and the rooms are very simple and comfortable. Breakfast on the terrace is relaxing and tasty - the best coffee I have had in Morocco. The staff is extremely friendly and makes you feel at home. Though the location can be a bit tricky, the maps provided over email are very helpful and it is a truly wonderful experience to stay in the heart of Rabat's ancient medina.
