Riad Christina is a short 5 minute walk from the main square in Marrakech. The street that the riad is on is poorly lit at night, but it is easy enough to find during the daylight.
Upon our arrival, our host graciously served us mint tea and cookies in the beautifully decorated interior courtyard. Every room in the house, including our bedroom, was tastefully decorated with Moroccan furnishings. In the morning we were served a nice breakfast of Moroccan pancakes, honey, bread, jams, fresh orange juice and coffee on the rooftop terrace which was lovely.
There is a cute jacuzzi in the house, but unfortunately the heater broke while we were there and we were not able to use it (no fault of the host.)
Our main problem occurred during our first night there when we came home at night and the host was not there to answer the door. Since we were not given a key to the riad and were just instructed to ring the doorbell, we were frustrated by this situation.
If you speak a language other than french or arabic, communication with the hosts may be difficult as their english is somewhat broken. They were however happy to help us with all of our requests including using their internet, phone and teaching us how to make the delicious mint tea.
