Picked this Riad on the basis of previous reviews, to which I've little to add, but here goes... We stayed for 5 nights and were looked after by Amina, who was very helpful and welcoming. We had a wonderful 3-course meal here on our first night. The room was attractive, clean and comfortable and the breakfasts excellent. The location has its pros and cons - it's tucked away at the bottom of a little alley with no signage and is in the northwest part of the medina near Bab Doukkala, an area that's a little daunting on arrival, but fine once you get used to it. It's about a 20 minute walk to Djemaa El-Fna and, although there are riad's closer to that area where you could stay, the good thing about this one is that you're unlikely to be woken up by the early morning call to prayer - and, as it's not a "touristy" area, you're also unlikely to be hassled for money here. A haven of tranquility among the surrounding madness!
Top tips:
1. Definitely email the riad to arrange a taxi to pick you up from the airport and take you there - we would probably never have found it otherwise.
2. Take advantage of the rooftop terrace - something we forgot to do for the first couple of days.
3. Take some euros to pay for your extras.
4. The many market stalls and little shops in this area are a good place to buy fruit, cakes etc and you shouldn't be subjected to the hard sell here.
