The streets and alleys on the way to this lovely Riad might make you think that have ended up in the wrong place…but as soon as you enter the big door, you walk into 1001 Arabian nights! A lovely oasis; crisp and very clean. Nice bathroom, quality of the bed is very good and you have a small air conditioning in your room. You would expect to hear noise from the streets, but it’s all peaceful and quiet. The staff does its utmost best to attend to your needs. Breakfast is served on the rooftop terras.
We found out that also the location is wonderful. Located in the Medina, close to the Jamaa en Fna square, the souks and the new part of town with trendy restaurants and clubs; all within walking distance! And you’ll learn to appreciate the small streets surrounding the Riad with all the vendors because here you get to see Marrakech in all its glory.
Be aware that you might need to pay your stay in cash when you leave, because the credit card machine seems to be broken a lot ;-) But don’t worry, they will in NO WAY try to wiggle you out of more money!!!!

Booked an overnight stay in Marrakech and Riad Adriana was excellent. Welcomed with mint tea, it was relaxing from the start and a real contrast to "Maddakech". Had adjoining rooms with our two children, rooms beautifully furnished and clean. Breakfast was superb on the roof terrace, loads of very good quality food and tea/coffee. About 15 minutes walk from the main square but very straightforward to get there. When you first arrive at the Riad, the taxi drops you off round the corner. Recommend you use one of the local kids to help you find it, the tip is 20 dirrhams/ 2 euros.

We stayed at Riad Adriana for 8 days in September and October. i was really pleased to see that it lived up to my expectations in terms of rooms and service. the riad is lovely and serene and cool- lovely touches yet homely. the room was exactly as seen on the website- a good size, pristine with sweet touches like rose petals on the bed and bathroom. The bathrooms were clean and they had a great shower. The roof terrace is lovely and breakfast is served daily- we made a special request for fruit salad and mint tea instead of bread and pastries and this was happilly accomodated and the result was delicious. The best were the friendly and helpful staff, Taureg, Mohammed, Semira and Semira who went out of their way to help us- we used their phone, internet, they organised a hamman, allowed us to safely store our things when we went travelling, had a smile and offered us complimentary mint tea and cookies anytime. By the end of our stay, it felt like home.

The location is good in that it is quiet and safe and a reguge from the craziness and heat of Marrakesch but a good 15 fast minute walk to jemaa. We felt ripped pff and conned a lot in Marrakesch as opposed to everywhere else in Morrocco but Riad Adriana was a welcome relief. I would advise not staying in the courtyard rooms as they will be noisier but its not the end of the world if you do. As vegetarians the inhouse meal we had for $15.00 was way overpriced but meateaters may get better value, although dont be shy to explore.

Riad Adriana is in the north of the medina, outside the main hustle-bustle of the souks and Place Jemaa El-Fna, but still within an old quarter and walking distance to all the sights.

The hostess and staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and advise how to enjoy Marrakech without getting ripped off. Hostess will book day trips for reasonable rates.
