“A pleasant hotel but with complications”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 December 2010

Our group had rooms in the Jardins d'Ines complex, Pavillon du Golf complex and in the Golf Club. We had no rooms in the main hotel so I cannot comment on those.
During our stay we had several complaints about sewage smells in the bedrooms and lack of hot water. The hotel seemed to find the hot water problem difficult to solve.
Transportation was a big problem too. The hotel has a few shuttles looping between the various satellite resorts. The Pavillon du Golf is on the main hotel site so golf buggies can be used to transport guests to and from the main hotel (or alternatively it's a 10 minute stroll) but the Jardin d'Ines is a good 10-15 minute drive off site and we were sometimes waiting ages for a van to take us from one site to the other.
Housekeeping was a constant issue too. We had a problem with a toilet that wouldn't flush and it took 3 days to get the problem fixed. This was partly due to the language barrier as we struggled to make ourselves understood in English to anyone other than senior management.
All of the bedrooms in each complex are beautiful but it was commented that the furniture was chosen for aesthetics rather than comfort.
In summary, I would say that this is a nice hotel that could be so much better if more attention were paid to service.

“Fantastic”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 October 2010

Loved the pace of life in this hotel. The suites are spacious and well equipped. The staff are courteous and very welcoming. The pool occupied us all the day. This is a place for just chilling and be with your family and reading .There is nothing else to do and thats whayt we wanted . You can get a minibus to the main hotel, but that is very inferior. There are a few buses to and from town during the day. The restaurant in the complex is fabulous but can get pricey for four eating for 5 days.
Free WIFI as well. by the pool and in the rooms

Matched 5 star hotel's I have stayed in easily .

Here are the practicals:
Get a deal with the breakfast included, its a great spread. Don't touch the Minibar, its too excessive in my opinion.
Plan your day to visit town and take advantage of free transport
Taxis are expensive to and from town.

“Haven of Tranquility”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 September 2010

This was a lovely hotel. We peeked our noses into Branson extravaganza and preferred Les Jardin at a fraction of the price! The rooms are all very comfortable suites and the garden pool and restaurant excellant. Te staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is part of the Palmerie complex so one can play golf or visit the spa.
It is 10 kms from the medina there is a shuttle service 3-4 times a day but at night a taxi is needed at about £10

“Peaceful and beautiful but lacking in atmosphere”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 September 2010

We stayed at the Jardin d'Ines for a long weekend whilst attending a wedding nearby.

The staff was very curteous and helpful if a little ineffective and slow at times.
Our suite was lovely, very big with lots of space a lovely decor, a working fireplace (not that we needed it in that weather, but I imagine it would be lovely in the winter) a super comfortable bed and no less than 3 little oudoor areas, but the actual hotel a little boring and lacking in atmosphere. The water pressure in the shower wasn't very good, this was probably the biggest let down in otherwise very high quality accommodation.

We ate at the restaurant on the first night and while it was nice and the food was very good but I found it a bit expensive for what it was and it had absolutely no atmosphere either.

The choice at breakfast was quite limited and luckily we had B&B rate otherwise it would have made my heart bleed to pay MAD150pp for a couple of mini croissants, a slice of melon and a pot of weak coffee. Also on the last morning we were asked if we wanted omelettes, my husband ordered one but the waiter forgot to tell us that kitchen wasn't open yet so after a long wait we had to catch our airport transfer before the omelette arrived.

I really enjoyed the pool and the relaxed peaceful location, however more than a weekend here and I would have been bored to tears, the hotel would benefit from having a small bar as currently the bar and restaurant are in the same space.

When Jardin d'Ines gets a bit boring (after about 6 hours) there are free shuttles to the larger golf resort nearby and from there free shuttles to Medina (some 20-30 minutes away)

I probably wouldn't stay again as I prefer a bit more happening location or at least within walking distance from town but would recommend to somebody who is seeking peace and quiet in pleasant surroundings and doesn't mind taking taxis or shuttles everywhere.

“A beautiful boutique hotel with a local authentic feel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 June 2009

Les Jardins d'Ines is a very cute, jewel like little hotel. The gardens are very well kept & the staff does its best to please your every need. Ths very private retreat has a chic yet local feeling about itself. Being part of the Golf Palmeraie Palace group, you can also have access to the other restaurants of the resort or enjoy an afternoon at the 40000 square feet Spa of the hotel. The Medina downtown is only a 15 mn drive from the hotel & even though I loved discovering the winding alleys of the Medina & bargain at every corner, it was a real pleasure to come back to this fantastic & protected venue. I would definitely recommend it.
