We had ambivalent feelings about this Riad. The place itself is absolutely gorgeous and amazingly well maintained. The location is a bit hard to find like everything in the Medina, but after a few days you'll manage to find your way.
What started to bother us after a while was the attitude of the staff. The manager was very sparesome with information and advice, and rarely present. Whenever he was actually in he was polite but gave us the feeling he couldn't wait untill we would leave his office.
The rest of the staff seemed indifferent at best and sometimes downright grumpy. We are not difficult to please but some people would refuse to even say hello back in any language (including Arabic) when opening the door. Breakfast was served untill 10.30, but the staff would be irritated when we arrived at 10.25. We made an effort to be polite and friendly but most people couldn't even smile at us, making us wonder what it was we did wrong (luckily there were some exceptions, like the friendly night guard).
Having stayed in other places in Morocco where people tried to make you feel welcome and at home, this really effected our appreciation of this place.
